About FolksOnBooks
We are a small bookgroup that meet once a month at the Country Arms Pub in Cambridge (opposite Shire Hall)
The group has been running since January 2009 and have enjoyed many group meetings where we discuss a pre chosen book.
Over the years FolksOnBooks have attended events such as Women's Word, Shakespeare Festival, we have also visited the cinema and hope more visits to events are on the horizon
The group varies in age and background but we all have one thing in common...we love to read.

When Where and How
When - We currently meet every third Monday of each month at 7.30pm
Where - The County Arms, 43 Castle St, Cambridge, CB3 0AH
How - Each month one member chooses three books for the group to vote on, the book with the most votes is the book we read then discuss the following month.
Each meeting we discuss the chosen book, we talk about many different things from the author to how the book made us feel. There is no set programme for discussing the books and they are very relaxed meetings.
